Description

DX-LQ. GIL is a unitaite (natural asphalt) mixture suspension which can be used in place of regular powdered gilsonite® in any drilling fluid system. It provides all the beneficial properties of gilsonite® in a liquid form, without adversely affecting the drilling fluid system.

DX-LQ. GIL helps lower fluid loss by forming a thin tough filter cake which minimizes filtration losses. It also promotes wetting of metal surfaces, thus helping to improve lubricity, reduces torque and drag, and prevents differential sticking.
Product Benefits

DX-LQ. GIL is a black, free flowing liquid which does not settle out or form a hard packed bottom layer, but remains suspended in the liquid phase, even over long periods of storage.

DX-LQ. GIL is available in 5 gal Pails at 44 lbs. net; 55 gal drums at 480 lbs. net; or 275 gal Poly Totes at 2398 lbs. net.
