Description

DX-DeFloc CF is an environmentally safe, non-toxic, non-hazardous, chrome-free, Quebracho tannin-based deflocculant/thinner.

It is designed to reduce the viscosity of water-based muds and can be used successfully over a wide range of temperatures.

Product Uses

DeFloc CF is primarily used as a deflocculant/thinner in water-based drilling and is environmentally sound. Maximum deflocculation and shear strength reduction is seen at low concentrations.

Application

Is exceptionally soluble in systems of high-hardness, high-salinity and at any pH. The temperature tolerance is in excess of 300°F (149°C).
Dosage

The specific dosage for each system depends upon the current conditions. It is recommended to run laboratory tests to determine specific dosage. Ranges can be anywhere from 0.1 lb/bbl to 2.0 lb/bbl.
Packaging

DX-DeFloc CF is available in 50 lb multi-walled bags, 50 bags per pallet.
