DX Oilfield CFL-I® is a chrome free lignosulfonate used as a water-based mud conditioner. This product has been used successfully in areas where
chrome-free materials are desired, including as a viscosity and filtration
reducer in aqueous systems of fresh and salt water, in calcium oxide slurries,
gypsum, potassium chloride or in any water based system with dispersing
properties.
CFL-I® provides good thermal stability and is effective in a wide range of pH.
CFL-I® has been developed as an environmental friendly product and as a
clay inhibitor and dispersing agent. It is a fluid loss reducer and gives excellent
gel and yield point values.
