Description

DX DEFOAM is a non-hazardous, synthetic defoamer and anti-foam agent that can be used in all water-based fluids and high salinity completion fluids. It is unique due to effectiveness at low concentrations as a defoamer and in the way it continues to work, as the concentration range increases, as a lubricant.

Applications As an anti-foam and/or defoamer for water based fluids, the recommended dosage is .05 to 10 liters/m3. As a lubricant for water based fluids, the recommended dosage is 2 to 10 liters/m3. The product can be added through the hopper or added slowly onto the surface of the suction pit. At higher concentrations this product contributes to fluid loss control in water based muds.
 
   
Handling/Storage

This product can irritate the eyes and skin. When handling any chemical, good personal hygiene should be practiced. Please read the DX DEFOAM material safety data sheet.

Packaging

DX DEFOAM is packaged in 20 liter pails, 36 pails per pallet.
